Luz Flores, Programs Manager
Luz Flores serves as the Programs Manager. Luz has been working in nonprofit agencies since 1995, prior she worked as a school teacher for LAUSD. Luz is an experienced non-profit program manager and is responsible for grant and program management, programs daily operations, staff, mentors & volunteer management, recruitment and public relations. She is a graduate of Cal State Dominguez Hills and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is a certified trainer in First Aid/CPR/AED and Conflict Resolution.

Ivet Lechuga, Case Manager
Ivet Lechuga serves as our Lead Case Manager. Ivet provides individualized training and educational plans to each student in the program, she addresses barriers to education and employment by providing case management and referrals in collaboration with community partners. Ivet assists students with applications and entrance exams for post-secondary education and vocational training and employment. Ivet is an experienced case manager that creates success in our program by being committed to transformation and commitment to the success of our students. She is a graduate of CSULA and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.
Laura Veloz, Lead Academic Teacher
Laura Veloz serves as our Lead Teacher. Laura is an experienced educator who works with teachers, administrators and parents to help both teachers and students have a positive, productive school experience. She holds a multi-subject HS credential and supervises thematic and collaborative academic program and after school support. She provides direction in areas like course planning, professional development, special education, standardized testing improvement and other subjects. She holds a master’s degree in education from UCLA.
