Before WINTER I was going from job to job and hoping for a future career. Going through the WINTER Program, my self- esteem increased and my self-confidence soared to limits I’ve never known.

At WINTER I learned positive problem solving skills and communication skills that have had a great impact on my life.

Because of the WINTER Program I was able to hit the pavement running with my HAZWOPER, RSO and LEAD certifications. No business was safe from my daily calls or arrival to sign the availability list.

In less than 30 days, and I was working in San Diego for $15.00 an hour and $25.00 per Diem. I was in the field and happily working.

Today I work at Shell Refinery for $19.45 an Hour. I work 6- 12-hour days and love every minute of it.

I love my career, I love WINTER, and I love MYSELF
