10/13/2010 - Feature Article "State budget cuts are the  main cause for the closure of Rosie the Riveter Charter High School, school officials said, but there is hope the school will reopen next fall. "The cuts this year were about 15%, but this has been progressive," said Alexandra Torres, excutive director of the nonprofit Women in Non-Traditional Employment Roles, which managed the school.

10/20/2009 - Women In Non Traditional Employment Roles (WINTER) today received a $60,000 grant to expand its capacity to train women for green jobs. This grant is part of the Moving From Red Green: Working Women in the Green Economy, a Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) Foundation initiative funded by the Walmart Foundation.
